I call this sculpture of a rabbit riding bicycle “Carrot Delivery.” The silly rabbit with oversized feet and quivering whiskers has learned how to pedal a two-wheeler. And he uses his sweet red ride to carry produce. He puts his carrot prizes in a little bike basket to transport them from garden to rabbit hole.
I created the rabbit from different colored clay bodies finished with stains and washes and fired to cone 5. The bicycle is a sweet metal toy with great detail– basket, pedals, and a front wheel that moves. I created the vibrant carrots from an oil-based modeling clay. The sculpture measures 10 inches high.
