Description
This mastiff on couch sculpture illustrates what lovers of large breeds know. They love furniture and they take up lots of space. And yet, in this sculpture, the mastiff looks a little cramped. Only one of the animals has the room it needs to sleep comfortably: the little gray tabby cat.
I created the mastiff on couch sculpture from different colored clay bodies, finished with stains and washes and fired to cone 5. The sculpture measures 9 inches long.
