Description

Dragons were among the first animals I ever created in clay and this dragon sculpture has made itself quite at home in my studio. In fact, the dragon feels so comfortable he has decided to don a pair of bunny slippers and settle into a cozy armchair. The dragon sculpture has amazing detail- lots of scales and texture on the dragon, and the bunny slippers even have a fuzzy fur trim. Fake fur, of course. The dragon sculpture is made of different colored clay bodies, finished with glaze, copper carbonate stain, and paint washes, and fired to cone 5. The be-slippered dragon sculpture stands almost 12 inches tall.
