In this hungry Labrador sculpture a blond dog holds his (or her) food bowl in his mouth and looks up with pleading eyes. Surely it’s mealtime?
I lovingly colored this yellow lab with orange highlights, dark ears and a pink highlights on his big nose. The bowl resembles a common stainless steel dog bowl.
A lab lovers know, “hungry lab” is an oxymoron. These dogs are always ready to eat. And the pup featured in this hungry lLabrador sculpture is no exception.
The Labrador Retriever measures about 7.5″ high. I created this lab from a primarily from porcelain and stoneware clay, finished with stains, washes and enamel, fired to cone 5.
