Doodle Dog

Description

Here’s a sculpture for all the Doodle Dog Lovers. This buff colored pup with a white chest sits with a an expectant look on his (or her) fuzzy face. Perhaps she is waiting for treats. Or maybe she is proclaiming her innocence with regard to the missing cookie from the counter.

I created this pup from four different clay colors, fired to cone 5 and finished with stains and washes. The body of the doodle uses a buff clay with lots of grog to give her the fuzzy look. The doodle dog measures about 7.5 inches tall.
